White Chocolate Blondies

I am so in love with these blondies. They are simple to make and even easier to devour. They are amazing on their own or even better heated up and topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. You cannot go wrong no matter how you eat them.

Ingredients

  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar packed
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • cups white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 370F degrees. Line a 9x9 inch baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium size bowl. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, using an electric stand mixer, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar, and vanilla extract until combined.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing between each egg and scrape down the sides..
  • Add flour mixture and mix until just combined. Do not over mix it or you will get a tough blondie.
  • Using a rubber spatula, stir in the white chocolate chips until combined and nuts if using.
  • Press dough into prepared baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until edges are lightly golden brown and the center is just cooked. Let blondies cool completely before cutting into squares. ENJOY!!
