Cannoli Dip

  • 1 cup ricotta drained
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup mini chocolate chips
  • zest of 1 small orange
  • waffle cones cannoli shells, piroline cookies, strawberries, milano cookies, mini chocolate chip cookies- any other dippers you may like

Method
 

  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer or using a hand mixer, combine the ricotta and the cream cheese. Begin to whip and once it is combined, add in the powdered sugar. Mix on high for about 3-5 minutes or until smooth. Add in the vanilla and whip for another 30 seconds.
  2. Fold in the chocolate chips and the orange zest. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with the desired dippables. You can also pack it up to take with you if you are going to a party. Enjoy!
