About Happy Chef Mama
Hi, I’m Chef Steph and I love teaching people how to cook. As a professional chef for over 16 years, I love showing people how to cook like a pro even at home.
Yet, I love going one step further with that though. Ever since becoming a mom, who for the first three years was a super busy working mama. To becoming a super busy stay at home mama. I love helping other mamas learn to cook quick, healthy meals for their families that everyone will enjoy.
I love showing busy mamas, executives, new wives and many more how it can be even quicker than the drive thru line and you can not only help your kids, family, friends or yourself eat healthier foods, but also getting everyone involved in the kitchen. All of this will help your kids build a great relationship with food from an early age. Also, help you develop a great relationship with food, friends and family.Â
I would like to help you learn how to make healthy, quick and easy meals that the whole family will enjoy!
I am really good at planning healthy meals for the week. Making the corresponding shopping list and not only making those meals,(even when you are stressed, exhausted and super busy); But I can help with getting even the pickiest of eaters to actually eat them!
Check out what a few of my clients are saying…
“Chef Steph has helped our family go from eating out almost 6 nights a week and my little guy hating veggies to being able to cook healthy, quick and easy meals at home that include veggies that even he will eat with us!”–Lacey
“Chef Steph helped me get my two little girls to eat fruits and veggies and not only eat them, but wanting to eat them and wanting to cook with mommy.”– Jen
“I was the take out queen because I had not time, or at least I thought, to cook at home. Between Soccer, Dance, school and working full time, I thought I couldn’t make dinner too. My kids and even my husband and I were eating so unhealthy and just what I could grab on the way home from wherever. That has completely changed. I have not only learned how to better plan my meals, but cook them, have the kids be involved in that process AND get us all eating much healthier choices. Thank you to Chef Steph for making it so much easier than I ever thought it could be.”– Sarah
Here is a little bit about me…Â
- Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago
- I love going on food adventures–learning how other people and other cultures eat and why
- Always have a ton of energy and never drink caffeine– naturally caffeinated I guess!
- I love strange combinations of food, even when I am not pregnant– like pickles and cheddar cheese dip or Oreos and potato chips– I am a sweet and salty freak!
- I’m actually really shy– but hide it pretty well
- When I get stressed I binge watch cooking shows, while eating oreos!
- Have always loved to write, especially about food–probably why I love blogging, but also why I probably should’ve been a food critic
- I really enjoy traveling and making new memories– especially with food and family
- I love teaching people– especially how to cook–I treat my students like family– I teach currently at Sur La Table in Naperville
- My family is my everything–My whole world!
I am so excited to have to share with you, grow with you and learn about you. Thank you for checking out my little piece of the web here! I cannot wait to teach you more and watch you become more confident in the kitchen!
